About me

I currently work at ByteDance (TikTok) on SDN research and development. Our team focuses on automating egress traffic engineering for ByteDance’s global content distribution network and designs novel solutions to intelligently steer traffic to the end-users, aiming to minimize congestion events and costs while maximizing performance and user satisfaction.
Current research focus: BGP Flowspec, vendor-agnostic switch telemetry, network layer (L3) routing.

I completed my PhD from Brown University in the Systems Group in 2023, under the supervision of Theophilus Benson.
Dissertation: CDPlane: A Dynamic Content Distribution Plane for the Next Billion Users.
